1. What We Collect
We collect minimal data necessary to operate the Service:
- Message content: Text you submit for transformation. Unless you explicitly make it public, this is discarded after processing and not stored.
- Public rants: If you opt into the public library, your submitted content and its transformed version are stored and visible to all visitors.
- Feedback & support messages: If you contact us or submit feedback, we store the message and any contact details you voluntarily provide.
- Usage analytics: We collect anonymised usage data (e.g. page views, session duration, device type) to understand how the Service is used and improve it.
- Session data: We use a short-lived, signed session token to manage daily usage limits. This does not identify you personally.
2. How We Use Your Data
- To provide the message-transformation Service
- To display public content in the library (only when you opt in)
- To respond to support and feedback enquiries
- To enforce fair usage limits
- To understand and improve the Service
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
3. Sub-processors & Infrastructure
To operate and improve the Service, we rely on third-party infrastructure providers for hosting, AI processing, email delivery, data storage, and analytics. These providers are bound by their own privacy and security obligations and are only given access to data necessary for the services they perform on our behalf.
We do not publicly disclose the specific vendors we use beyond what is legally required. You may contact us if you have specific questions about our data processing arrangements.
4. Data Retention
Public library content is retained indefinitely unless you request its removal. Session tokens expire after 24 hours. Feedback and support submissions are retained until manually reviewed and deleted. Analytics data is retained per the policies of our analytics provider.
5. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, or request deletion of data we hold about you. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@wtftofyi.com.
6. Cookies
We use a session cookie for rate limiting and cookies from our analytics provider. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though this may affect certain functionality.
7. Children
The Service is not intended for users under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
8. Changes
We may update this policy periodically. The revision date at the top indicates when it was last changed. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
